Planning Sector delegation for presenting KPC “2011-2012 performance review-mid
year awareness session” which aims at enhancing means of cooperation and
experience exchange within the oil sector and to identify the role of Planning
and Research & Development sectors. The event was attended by Mr. Fahed
Salem Al-Ajmi, Chairman & Managing Director, accompanied by the DMDs, in
addition to officials and employees from KPC subsidiaries, presided by Mr.
Farouk Al-Zanki, CEO-KPC.
The meeting started with a speech by Mr. Farouk
Al-Zanki who welcomed the attendees, referring to the importance of such
meeting in highlighting the performance and strategic projects. He also
emphasized that KPC is very keen on demonstrating the recent year forum in a
new shape and concept, pointing out that it will be held twice a year including
all K-companies in one gathering.
Al-Zanki indicated that KPC started a stage of
strategic planning which is followed by operational planning, hoping that the
new year would be a year of performance and achievements.
Furthermore, a number of KPC Planning Sector
employees presented a review on KPC and the general strategic directions up to
2030 of the refining sector in Kuwait, referring to the most important projects
of planning sector and its main challenges, in addition to its mission and
basic responsibilities. The meeting was attended by a large crowd of people who
confirmed the significance of this event in strengthening relations among the
oil sector employees, which impacts on the performance of KPC and its
subsidiaries. At the conclusion, attendees started to pose their inquiries
which were all replied by Mrs. Shaimaa Al-Ghonaim, Manager, Strategic Planning
Department, Mr. Nouri Al-Salamah, Manager, Performance Appraisal Tracking Dept.
and Mr. Waleed Al-Bader, Manager, Planning & Investment Coordination for
Refining & Process-KPC.
