In accordance with KNPC participation in promoting awareness among school students and making them acquainted with the vital role of the oil sector in Kuwait, Corporate Planning Department received on 29/12/2011 a delegation from Abdulaziz Al-Gharbally Primary School for Boys, where Al-Anoud Al-Kharji, Engr.-B, Plans Coordination gave a lecture titled “Oil Manufacturing Processes”.
Al-Kharji started the event by presenting a summary on KNPC with its different facilities and the role of its three refineries. After that, she previewed a number of subjects related to the oil industry, ways of its extraction and phases of the refining process. She also reviewed the most important oil products coming out from the refining process and the application of such products. Engr. Al-Anoud also made the students acquainted with the petroleum derivatives with samples of these derivatives, explaining the difference between each type. At the end of the event, a contest was organized for students on the lecture subject and then gifts were distributed to the winners
